Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how you may use the Total Veteran Platform. It applies to all users and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to do so may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Lawful Use Only

You must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Platform in any manner that:

  • Violates any local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Facilitates or encourages illegal activity
  • Violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights

Prohibited Content

You must not upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:

  • Is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory
  • Contains sexually explicit material
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
  • Promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Constitutes hate speech targeting protected characteristics
  • Contains personal or sensitive information about third parties without their consent
  • Infringes any intellectual property right, including copyright, trademark, or patent
  • Is knowingly false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Constitutes unsolicited advertising or spam
  • Contains malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or any other harmful code

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, any other user's account, or any associated system or network
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorisation
  • Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform without written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to send or facilitate phishing, fraud, or social engineering attacks
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Harvest or collect user information without consent
  • Use the Platform to compete with Total Veteran or to develop competing products without our written consent
  • Bypass, circumvent, or attempt to circumvent any access controls, subscription paywalls, or content restrictions
  • Use another user's account without their permission

Uploaded Content

When you upload images, files, video, or other content to the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have the right to share it
  • The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • The content complies with this AUP and all other Platform policies
  • You have obtained any necessary consents from individuals depicted in or identifiable from the content

We reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to any uploaded content that we reasonably believe violates this AUP or applicable law.

Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your account
  • Enable two-factor authentication where available
  • Log out of your account after use on shared devices
  • Promptly report any suspected security breach or unauthorised account access to us at support@totalveteran.com

International Use

The Platform is accessible globally. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with local laws and regulations in your country of residence. We make no representation that the Platform is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Where we determine a violation has occurred, we may take any of the following actions without prior notice:

  • Remove or disable offending content
  • Issue a formal warning
  • Temporarily suspend access to all or part of the Platform
  • Permanently terminate your account
  • Disclose information to law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate

We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in investigating violations of this AUP that may constitute criminal activity.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or conduct that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us at support@totalveteran.com or using the in-platform reporting tool where available.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
